What's happened:

We’re really sorry if you have had no water or you had lower water pressure than normal. We were made aware of a third party operating one of our valves to fill a swimming pool, this pool is co owned by local authority and Everyone Active. They have now stopped filling the pool, however they made need to operate the valves again in order to finish filling the pool. Any further use of the valve will be done during the night, and they may need to do this over the weekend until Monday, so we will leave this message up until then.

What you can do

If at any stage you have no water or lower water pressure please avoid using your:

• Washing machine
• Dishwasher
• Electrical appliances that use water

If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.

We’re really sorry about this, we’re working to get your water back to normal as soon as possible.

What happened so far

Saturday 26th April 2025 

(11:30) Technician has done a pressure test and has confirmed water has restored to the area, the leisure centre has stopped filming the pool. We have confirmed with the leisure centre any further operation of the valve will be operated out of hours to limit disruption.

(11:15) Technician on site unable to get in contact with anyone at the swimming pool. 

(10:40) Reports of no water or low water pressure received, technician has been dispatched to investigate.
