To make the process as quick and easy as possible, please ensure you have the following information readily available: 

  • Details of the deceased, including name, address and date of death
  • Name and address of executor or person who is legally looking after the affairs of the deceased
  • Affinity Water customer number (if available)
  • A meter reading (if the property has a meter fitted)
  • Whether the property was owned or rented

Future water use

We need to know what is happening at the property regarding future water use. If the property is not occupied but you still require water, for decorating or cleaning for example, you will need to tell us who is going to be responsible for paying any future bills.

1. Water required

Is the person named above living at the property?

Where properties were occupied jointly but only one name was on the bill, please enter the date of death.
 

2. Water not required

We understand the property may be for sale, have reverted to the landlord, be awaiting probate or redevelopment etc. Please try to give us all the relevant information.
