Steps to take if you’re struggling with debt

2. Prioritise your bills

Some bills, like rent, mortgage, utilities, and council tax, should be your top priority. Missing these payments can have serious consequences. If you’re struggling to pay, we have the tools to help.

3. Seek help and advice

There are many organisations that offer free, confidential advice if you’re struggling with debt. Don’t hesitate to reach out for support.

4. Contact your service providers

If you’re having trouble paying bills, don’t ignore them. Many providers, including Affinity Water, offer flexible payment plans to help you manage your payments.
