If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far?

(19:20) Repair complete and pressure restored

(17:30) Gang excavating further before fitting

(17:30) Further repairs needing to be carried out

(16:25) The mains have been recharged and water has restored to all properties, there is still a minor leak on the mains and our team have gone to get a siddle clamp to cure this. We expect no customer impact for the remaining works, however, if there is, we will update you.

(15:50) Our team have reached the mains and are in the process of fitting a clamp to repair the leak.

(14:50) Our team are still digging to get to the main, there is a lot of concrete to get through which is causing the delay.

(14:15) Our technician has throttled the mains again, to allow for the digging to carry on, customers within this throttle may experience no water, we have updated the 'Streets Affected' to reflect this.

(12:10) Our technician has unthrottled the mains to restore the water to all properties affected, albeit this will still be at lower pressure. Digging is still ongoing and the mains may need to be throttled again later on. We will let you know when this will happen.

(10:10) Our repair team has arrived and is setting up to start digging to repair the mains burst.

(09:45) We have updated the 'Streets Affected', please check this to see whether or not, you are affected by the throttled mains.

(09:10) Our technician has throttled in the mains, pressure is restoring to all properties outside of the zone that has been throttled in, customers within this zone will have no water.

(08:40) Our technician has found a burst on Guildford Road, he will have to throttle in the mains to restore the pressure back to the area, we will let you know when this will happen.

(07:05) Our technician is on route to investigate and locate the burst.

(06:55) The reading shows that all customers within that area should have water, albeit at lower pressure.

(06:50) Our Network Control Desk have seen a drop in pressure on the network in your area and believe this to be a burst.
