We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst mains and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

What’s happened so far?

Monday 3rd February 2025

(15:45) The cutout has been complete and the technician will be onsite flushing the pipework, to reduce sediment, then testing the water.

(09:40) The works have continued, no impact to your water is expected

Saturday 1st Febuary 2025

(01:00) Repair postponed - water currently restored

Friday 31st January 2025

(22:00) Gang on site digging to locate burst

(19:55) A technician is onsite awaiting the parts to carry on the repairs.

(08:35) A temporary repair has been completed and the team will be returning today to both Medley Close and Summerley in order to continue repair works.

Thursday 30th January 2025

(23:45) Burst on Greenways has been sucessfuly repaired, further burst on Summerleys planned to be repaired tomorrow morning

(22:00) Valve has now been repaired and team are monitoring pressure.

(19:30) A Cadent supervisor has to be on site before they can cut into the pipe and fit the valve.

(18:00) The team is currently installing a valve on the first burst and a team is on the way to fix the second burst.

(17:35) A second burst has been located causing no water to more properties in the area.

(14:05) Our repair team and traffic management are on their way to site

(10:45) Our loggers indicate that there may be a burst main in the area. Our technician is on route to site to investigate, at this stage, we expect no customer impact
