No Water in Much Hadham
We’re really sorry if you have experienced a loss of supply or low pressure today. Further to yesterday's issue, we experienced a further drop in pressure on our network today.
Our repair team have carried out alterations to our network, which has restored water supply. We have confirmed that pressure levels have returned back to normal across our network, and all of our customers should now have water supply returned to normal.
We will continue our investigation into the cause of the issue, however we do not anticipate any further interruption to supply.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here

Timeline of Event
(18:30) Pressure has restored to normal levels across our network.
(16:15) - Alterations have been completed to restore water to the water supply network.
(14:30) - Our repair team on site carrying out alterations to our pipework to restore water to the area
(12:30) - Technicians are out investigating
(09:00) - Technicians are en route to investigate this further
(06:30) - we are investigating a further issue on our water supply network.
(03:15) - We have been able to restore pressure to the area and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.
(01:30 - 25th December 2024) - Pressure readings are being taken along the network and investigations are still on going.
(23:30) Pressure readings being take along the main.
(21:45) We believe an airlock in the water main may be causing this.
(17:40) Team still on site, step testing trying to locate leak/burst.(19:40) Team still step testing around the area trying to locate the leak/burst that is causing this issue.
(15:40) A rezone has been put into place and everyone should have water, albeit at lower pressure, if you are on a longer supply pipe you may find that you are still experiencing no water at this time.
(11:55) The leakage team and another technician have arrived on site, trying to locate the leak/burst. Team to flush a valve to bring water back into impacted area.
(10:10) The technician has requested for help from the leakage team and an additional technician to locate the leak/burst.
(09:45) The technician has arrived on site investigating what is causing this issue.
(09:10 - 24th December 2024) A technician is on the way to investigate.
