We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What’s happened so far?

Saturday 1st February 2025

(21:45) We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

(19:50) Our repair team are fixing the burst pipe.

(18:00) Technicians on site continuing to work hard to complete repairs

(16:00) Repairs are still ongoing and the team will remain onsite until works are completed.

(13:00) The tree has now been removed and the team are carrying out repairs on the burst main. 

(12:15) Tree surgeon is on site removing the tree which is obstructing repairs. Technicians remain on site assessing the damage to the mains burst. 

(08:00) The repair is still ongoing and we are awaiting a tree removal specialist to complete repairs. 

(06:00) Burst main has been discovered on Clayton Field and a technician is en route to complete repairs.
