We’re really sorry for the problems with your water supply. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What’s happened so far

Wednesday 29th January 2025

(11:15) Repair works have been completed and water restored, the team are now flushing the main

(10:50) The main has been shut to assist in completing repair works

(08:30) Extra fittings needed have arrived on site

Tuesday 28th January 2025

(15:35) Further fittings are needed for the repair to be completed

(15:15) The team will now leave site and return tomorrow to complete repair works

(15:00) The main was throttled and the repair team have done a repair, however, there is still water leaking

(14:15) We have been made aware of third party damage to one of our mains pipes on Sycamore Road
