We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far

Tuesday 28th January 2025

(22:30) The repair is now complete, however, flushing is now taking place

(18:50) All fittings are now on site and the team are continuing excavation works

(17:25) The repair team are awaiting further fittings to arrive onsite. 

(15:20) The repair team are excavating to expose the damaged main.

(13:15) The main has been throttled, this has returned water to the area, but still causing low pressure.

(13:10) The technician has shut the valve to try to bring pressure back to the area.

(11:35) Technician on route to investigate.
