Your water is back on

We’re really sorry for the problems with your water supply yesterday. We’ve fixed the burst mains and you should see your water flowing back to normal now.

Appearance of your water

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far

Thursday 2nd January 2025

(16:00) Technician and repair team on route to investigate.

(18:10) The burst has been located and the mains shut to contain it. A rezone has been put into place so you will see your water starting to restore, albeit at lower pressure.

(20:25) Thought the rezone has taken place, some properties may still be experiencing no water, the team are looking into this.

(21:50) All customers should now have water and at normal pressure.

(00:05) Our team have repaired the burst mains.
