Low water pressure in Romford
We're really sorry you are experiencing lower water pressure than usual. We've been made aware of a booster failure due to a faulty cable.

What we’re doing
Our technician has identified a power failure in your area which may have caused the pumping station to switch off. We’re working with UK Power Network to get this back up and running as soon as possible.
Your water pressure should be back to normal soon. We’re really sorry about this and thank you for your patience.
What you can do
Until we’ve sorted this, please avoid using your:
- Washing machine
- Dishwasher
- Electrical appliances that use water
If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.

What's happened so far
(00:40) Our technician has identified a power failure and is working with UK Power Network to get this back up and running as soon as possible.
(05:15) UK Power Network have advised that due to the location of their cable they are struggling to repair the faulty cable.
(09:20) UK Power Network have suggested restoration of power to be between 12:00-12:30.
(11:30) UK Power Network have advised they are now looking at 13:30 for the power restoration.
(13:40) UK Power Network have advised they are now looking at 14:30 for the power restoration.
(14:40) UK Power Network have advised they are now looking at 17:30 for the power restoration.
(16:00) UK Power Network have advised restorial work TBC.
