What's happened so far?
(19:35) Flushing has been completed, all customers are back in full supply.
(15:30) The valves that were opened for the rezone have been closed back up, flushing is still taking place at this moment of time.
(13:20) Repairs completed, flushing of the mains has started, all customers are back in supply, albeit at low pressure until the flushing has been completed, once we know how long this will take, we will let you know.
(13:00) The team have dug down to the mains and have exposed the mains burst, they are in the process of fitting a clamp, once we know how much longer the repairs will take we will let you know.
(11:45) One valve has been opened for the rezone and is now reading a good flow of water coming through, the valves which are on the mains where the burst is located will now be shut and seperated from the remaining parts of the mains. Our technicians will all go back to their valves to measure the pressure and see if the water is starting to restore to the affected properties that may have had no water.
(10:50) The rezone valves are now being flushed, once this is completed and a sample has been taken, this can be opened for the rezone to take place.
(09:25) Our technicians are taking pressure readings at hydrants around the area, following by flushing a few valves around the area, in order to put a rezone into place to hopefully restore water to the affected properties that may have no water.
(08:50) Two more technicians have been dispatched to assist with the linestop.
(08:35) Another two technicians have been dispatched to your area to assist with the mains burst.
(08:30) Our technician has assessed the mains burst and has confirmed the location of it, a JCB and road closure has been requested in order for the digging and repairs to take place. Our network control desk are currently looking into a possible rezone of the water to hopefully restore it to the properties affected.
(08:10) Our technician will be in your area within the next 5 minutes to assess the mains burst and give us an update as soon as possible.
(07:15) A burst has been reported on The Endway, a technician is on route to your area and a repair team has been requested. Our loggers show that the area affected will experience low pressure and some households may experience no water.
