Your water should be back on

We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far

(14:30) Repairs are complete and pressure shoudl be back to normal.

(13:55) The source of the issue was found and repairs started.

(13:00) Traffic management has been placed and barriers are being set up.

(11:00) The issue was found to be a burst water pipe on Northwood Road, everything is back to normal at Batchworth, London Road.

(10:25) We may need to turn off your water to start the repairs.

(08:50) Technician on route to investigate the low pressure showing on our loggers.
