We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst mains and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far?

(08:15) Our leakage team have found a burst mains and raised an urgent job.

(11:05) Repair team and technician on site waiting for traffic management to finish setting up.

(12:05) Technician has throttled the mains to allow digging to take place, you will still have water albeit at lower pressure.

(13:35) Technician had to shut the mains to allow cut out of broken pipe, you may experience no water whilst works are ongoing.

(14:45) Repairs have been completed and the water is starting to restore to all properties affected.
