Water supply returning to normal

We're sorry about the disruption with your water supply. This was due to a technical fault with some equipment at one of our pumping stations in the Luton area.

Yesterday we worked to adjust our network and to re-route water from other areas. Most customers have had water throughout today, but some customers had a lower pressure than normal.  Customers in flats or those who have a shared water supply have been more affected by low pressure.

We've completed all our testing and have made the final adjustments to our network, so we're pleased to say that the main phase of work at the pumping station is complete. The pressures will continue to build throughout the night, so your water supply should be back to normal soon.

While we're on site, we're also going to be starting another phase of work to install a second new pump to make sure that we can keep your water flowing in the future. This work won't have any impact on your water supply.

We’re sorry for any disruption this may have caused. Thanks again for your patience.
