Burst Main - Water Supply Restored

We're really sorry for the problems with your water on Saturday 10th May. The burst main is now repaired and water supply is restored to all properties.

Road Closure

Due to the scale of the burst and subsequent repair and reinstatement work, for traffic safety, we closed Edgware Way between Apex Corner and the Spur Road and Green Lane roundabout, westbound towards Stanmore.

Road closure and advance warning signage is set-up to divert traffic through the diversion routes.

We apologise for any disruption that this may cause to local residents and motorists.

What We're Doing

Our traffic management team are on site and has successfully opened the whole road.We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.

We updated this message at 16:30 on Tuesday 13th May and we will remove it at 20:00. 

What's happened so far

Tuesday 13th May 

(16:15) Our traffic management team have fully reopened the road.

Monday 12th May 

(19:00) Our traffic management team are on site and opened one lane. 

Sunday 11th May

Work to reinstate the area and restore the road is underway

Saturday 10th May

(04:30) Technician en-route to investigate and a repair team dispatched to set up site ready for work.

(07:50) Repair team arrived on Mowbray Road and initiated digging to expose the burst pipe.

(08:10) Team have operated one of the valves nearby to restore water to all affected customers.

(08:30) Some customers may experience loss of supply or lower pressure then usual.

(10:45) All customers now have water.

(12:55) Our repair team are fixing the burst pipe.

(15:43) Our repair team completed burst water main repair.
